What Upgrades Await the Lithium Battery Chain After AirTAC and Gotion High-tech’s Strategic Cooperation?

On June 12, AirTAC and Gotion High-tech formally signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement at AirTAC's second Ningbo production base. Kan Yu, Senior Manager of Gotion High-tech, led his team to visit, and Dai Jiaxing, Executive Vice President of AirTAC (China), received the guests with his core management team. The two sides held in-depth discussions before the signing. This agreement marks the official upgrade of bilateral cooperation from conventional product supply to a long-term strategic partnership. It is an important measure for the domestic pneumatic leader and the leading new energy battery enterprise to deepen industrial chain collaboration, and will further promote the independent control and collaborative upgrading of China's new energy power battery industry chain.
According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in multiple dimensions. In terms of product supply, AirTAC will provide Gotion High-tech with a full range of transmission and control products including pneumatic components, linear guides and industrial sensors, ensuring the stable supply of core components for all production bases of Gotion High-tech. In terms of technical R&D, the two sides will jointly develop customized solutions for lithium battery production scenarios, and optimize product reliability, service life and response speed for special working conditions of key processes such as electrode preparation and cell synthesis. In addition, the two sides reached consensus on core topics including manufacturing system upgrading, full-chain quality control, industry standard co-construction, global service network collaboration and supply chain security under extreme circumstances, and will establish a regular communication and docking mechanism.
As a leading enterprise of domestic industrial automation components, AirTAC has deeply penetrated the domestic lithium battery industry chain with cost-effective products and fast-response local services. Currently, its products have been widely applied in key equipment of many leading lithium battery enterprises such as CATL, Gotion High-tech, CALB, EVE Energy and Sunwoda, covering the entire production process from electrode preparation, cell winding/stacking to module PACK assembly. This strategic cooperation with Gotion High-tech will not only further consolidate AirTAC's market share in the new energy track, but also help AirTAC expand overseas markets simultaneously relying on Gotion High-tech's global production capacity layout. The two sides will jointly promote the localization substitution and technological iteration of core components of lithium battery equipment.
