Nation's First Pneumatic Industry Shared Laboratory Inaugurated in Fenghua

May 6, 2026

Fenghua Daily, April 1 – The nation's first pneumatic industry shared laboratory was officially inaugurated in our district on April 1. Relying on the National Pneumatic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center located in Fenghua, the laboratory aims to create a borderless public testing platform with resource integration, open sharing, safety standards, and efficient collaboration as its core objectives. It is set to inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the pneumatic sector in Fenghua and across the country.
Fenghua has long been known as the "Home of China's Pneumatic Components," with its products accounting for over 30% of the domestic market share and more than 50% of export share. However, local small and medium-sized pneumatic enterprises have long faced development bottlenecks such as high costs for purchasing precision testing equipment, insufficient professional detection capabilities, and a shortage of innovation resources. The establishment of this shared laboratory is a key measure to address these industry pain points, break down resource barriers, and shift scientific research and testing resources from "static isolation" to "dynamic collaboration," truly bringing them to the forefront of enterprises.
It is reported that the shared laboratory will initially open to pneumatic enterprises in Fenghua. It is equipped with 10 sets of high-precision specialized testing devices, which are domestically advanced and generally lacking among enterprises, with a total value exceeding 5 million yuan. The facility covers ten specialized testing areas, including semi-anechoic chambers, gas flow/pressure testing, and high-pressure detection. It can conduct comprehensive pneumatic product testing across dimensions such as pressure, flow, vibration, and noise. The equipment parameters all meet domestic advanced standards, capable of fulfilling various testing needs from routine inspections to cutting-edge research and development.
The laboratory operates under a low-cost open model and has simultaneously introduced public service initiatives: for cutting-edge pneumatic products such as electrical proportional valves and electrical flow valves, each Fenghua-based pneumatic enterprise can enjoy two batches of free testing. Member enterprises registered in Fenghua and affiliated with the District Pneumatic Industry Association are also eligible for one batch of free testing services for conventional products.
"The establishment of the shared laboratory not only allows small and medium-sized enterprises like ours to access high-end testing equipment but also provides professional technical guidance, significantly reducing product development and quality inspection costs," said a representative from a local small-scale pneumatic enterprise.
Furthermore, the laboratory will concurrently offer professional training for enterprise testing personnel. Through resource integration, it aims to improve equipment utilization efficiency and promote deep integration of industry, academia, and research.
