Meter-out and meter-in types can be visually differentiated by the lock nut.

The lock nut on the meter-out type is zinc chromated (the round lock nut is electroless nickel plated) while the meter-in type is black zinc chromate plated.

Note) Brass parts are all electroless nickel plated.

A Caution
Use caution for the anti-corrosiveness of finger guide section.
Martensitic stainless steel is used for the finger. However, be aware that its anti-corrosion performance is inferior to austenitic stainlesssteel. ln particular, the finger might be rusted in an environment where water droplets are adhered to it due to dew condensation.

How to Mount the Attachment to the Finger

To mount the attachment to thefinger, make sure to use awrench to support the attachment so as not to applyundue strain on the finger.Refer to the tablebelow for the propertightening torque onthe bolt used forsecuring the attachment to thefinger.
