Manufacturing Innovation Ecosystem Gathers Momentum 2025 Hannover Messe Shanghai Industrial Exhibition Concludes Success

Four days of grand success, witnessing the future. On October 31st, the 2025 Hannover Messe Shanghai Industrial Exhibition concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. With a total exhibition area of nearly 240,000 square meters, over 3,400 leading domestic and international companies participated, attracting nearly 150,000 professional visitors, including a 41.2% increase in overseas attendees compared to the previous year. Together, they witnessed the surge of new productivity in smart manufacturing, green transformation, and digitalization.
The exhibition included nine specialized shows: PTC ASIA (Asia International Power Transmission and Control Technology Exhibition), CeMAT ASIA (Asia International Logistics Technology and Transportation Systems Exhibition), ComVac ASIA (Shanghai International Compressor and Equipment Exhibition), APEX (Asia International Aerial Work Platform Exhibition), E-pack Tech (Asia International E-commerce Packaging Technology Exhibition), FBC (Shanghai International Intelligent Processing and Industrial Components Exhibition), Cold Xpo (Cold Chain Technology Special Display Area), ISA (Shanghai International Industrial Components and Subcontracting Special Display Area), and Freight Vehicle (Shanghai International Freight Vehicle and Operations Technology Exhibition).

PTC ASIA: Innovation Surge, Breakthroughs in Power Transmission Technology
The Asia International Power Transmission and Control Technology Exhibition (PTC ASIA) once again became a leading indicator of innovation in the power transmission sector. This year’s exhibition set a record, with nearly 1,800 companies occupying 110,000 square meters of display space, showcasing the full industrial chain of innovations, from basic materials to system integration.
The carefully curated "Specialized and Innovative Zone" and "Smart Manufacturing Zone" featured the latest breakthroughs in key components, such as high-precision hydraulic valves, precision reducers, and high-pressure seals. German and Italian exhibitors presented different power transmission solutions and lightweight, high-performance components, fostering deep technical exchanges between China and international firms. The exhibition provided opportunities for meaningful cooperation, and many companies secured valuable partnerships on-site.
Wolfgang Sochor, CEO of HAWE Group, discussed the trend toward hydraulic technology’s digitalization and sustainable development. He expressed appreciation for the platform the exhibition provided for industry professionals to exchange ideas. Many exhibitors, including suppliers in the hydraulic and electro-control industries, found the event a valuable channel for connecting with potential global customers and partners.
CeMAT ASIA: Smart Logistics Upgrade, Building a New Collaborative Ecosystem
The Asia International Logistics Technology and Transportation Systems Exhibition (CeMAT ASIA) featured the theme "Digital Empowerment, Green Innovation, Intelligent Creation of the Future," presenting an impressive display of smart logistics. The exhibition area grew to over 80,000 square meters, with more than 900 global exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge trends in logistics technology, automation, and green, low-carbon transformation.
Exhibitors showcased a wide range of intelligent, automated, and efficient products and solutions, contributing to the development of the smart logistics ecosystem. The platform value of CeMAT ASIA was praised by exhibitors, such as KION Group’s Chief Technology Officer, Guo Jinpeng, who highlighted the exhibition’s role in enabling companies to showcase their smart logistics solutions and foster collaborations. Other companies, such as Dematic and Hikvision Robotics, also reported fruitful results from networking and potential partnerships.
ComVac ASIA: Leading Green Technologies, Accelerating Transformation in the Compressor Industry
The Shanghai International Compressor and Equipment Exhibition (ComVac ASIA) has become a driving force for the industry’s green transformation. This year, nearly 350 top brands exhibited across 30,000 square meters, displaying cutting-edge products and breakthrough technologies in air compressors, vacuum pumps, and energy-efficient systems.
Exhibitors showcased innovations focusing on energy efficiency, green technologies, and intelligent solutions. The exhibition also featured discussions on how the compressor industry can evolve in response to carbon reduction goals. Ingersoll Rand, one of the core brands in the compressor industry, presented their latest products, including energy-efficient screw compressors and variable-frequency systems.
Martin Sojer, Asia-Pacific General Manager of Omega Air, praised the exhibition for providing a platform to connect with partners across Asia, solidifying long-term collaborations, and exploring new business opportunities.
